These terms apply to the A2Pea browser extension, published by Julianna Head ("we"). By installing or using the extension you agree to them.
1. What the extension is
A2Pea runs automated checks on websites and suggests language for SMS opt-in forms, privacy policies and terms. It is an informational tool.
2. Not legal advice. No guarantee of approval
- The extension and its templates are not legal advice and do not create a lawyer–client relationship.
- Carriers, The Campaign Registry and messaging providers make their own decisions and change their requirements without notice. A good score or "No issues found" does not guarantee approval of any brand, campaign or registration.
- Automated checks can miss problems or flag things that are fine.
- You are solely responsible for your messaging program's compliance with laws such as the TCPA, CAN-SPAM and state laws, and with carrier rules. Ask a qualified lawyer for advice about your business.
3. Price
The extension is free. Features may change over time.
4. Acceptable use
Use the extension only on websites you own, manage or have permission to review.
5. Disclaimer of warranties
The extension is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, fines, carrier fees, registration fees or rejected campaigns, arising from your use of the extension. Because the extension is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to US$50.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. Continuing to use the extension after an update means you accept the new terms.
8. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA.
